Who we are
Wessex Resins and Adhesives have been developing and manufacturing high-quality epoxy products since 1981. During this time, we have worked with many organisations that demand specialist formulations, including the Ministry of Defence, London Underground, Bombardier, and BAE Systems.
Wessex Resins & Adhesives manufactures WEST SYSTEM, PRO-SET®, and ENTROPY RESINS® under license from Gougeon Brothers Inc.
WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy is the leading brand of marine epoxy for boat construction and repair. It is distributed and sold worldwide and is widely available at marine chandleries and hardware stores across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. PRO-SET® Epoxy, is widely respected by cutting-edge composites manufacturers.
Work environment & culture
Wessex Resins and Adhesives is a British, family-run business based in Romsey, Hampshire. Currently, the second and third generations of the Oliver family look after the business, with Ian Oliver as Managing Director.
Our offices provide a friendly and open workplace where relaxed interaction across all departments and levels is the norm.
Staying at the top of our field is important to us. Nothing keeps us in that position more effectively than an educated workforce. In addition to supporting our employees with tuition reimbursement, we encourage (and cover) specialised training sessions, seminars, and field visits.
We’re located in the beautiful town of Romsey on the outskirts to Southampton with easy access from the motorway and train station.
