Rotted wooden trim? 😬

Don`t sweat it. Rotted wood doesn`t have to mean full-on replacement.

We took a split and rotted section of gable trim and brought it back to its original shape using WEST SYSTEM Wood Rot Repair Epoxy. Neat epoxy goes in first to saturate the fibers, then a thickened batch using 407 Low-Density Filler sculpts it back into profile.

Before you vacuum bag, seal the holes for an airtight setup.

Thin fiberglass + 105/206 + 406 = strong backing plates.
✔️ Wet out the surface
✔️ Add thickened epoxy with 406
✔️ Coat both sides for a tight seal

This keeps air where it belongs: inside the bag (not your laminate!)
